Pep Guardiola has been spotted in Manchester as he posed with members of the Gallagher family ahead of their historic reunion gig at Heaton Park<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Manchester City manager posed for a photo with Noel’s and Liam’s children in a snap shared to Gene’s Instagram page.<\/p>\n Sporting retro Manchester City kit and a casual pair of denim shorts, Pep looked every inch the concert-going dad as he raised his drink for the photo.<\/p>\n Pictured with him in the snap are Noel’s daughter Anais and Liam’s sons Gene and Lennon Gallagher.<\/p>\n The latter were dressed somewhat unseasonably for the 29C weather<\/a> in heavy jackets and pants – although perhaps they take after their father, who has taken to the stage in a parka.<\/p>\n The Gallagher’s friendship with their favourite team’s manager goes back some distance. Noel routinely appears at City events and posed with Pep in the living room of a house in Didsbury<\/a> to recreate the cover of Definitely, Maybe.<\/p>\n Join our Oasis WhatsApp group here<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n And when the band took to the stage for their first gig of the reunion tour in Cardiff last week (July 4), it was with a cut-out of Guardiola in the background.<\/p>\n The four appeared to be posing backstage at Heaton Park, as Oasis take to the stage in Manchester tonight for the first time in over 15 years.<\/p>\n Nearly 80,000 fans have made the pilgrimage to Prestwich<\/a> under blazing sunshine, as temperatures climbed to 30C.<\/p>\n Excitement has built to a fever pitch all day, with Manchester city centre<\/a> heaving with fans who have travelled from as far afield as California, Sweden and Japan to see the spectacle.<\/p>\n Beer gardens were packed and there were lengthy queues for trams and buses taking fans to the north Manchester park.<\/p>\n The brothers will play a further three dates in Manchester (July 12, 19 and 20).<\/p>\n
