Getty Images

The historic all-women’s boxing card is underway. In the main event, Katie Taylor will face Amanda Serrano for a third time. But before those two legends climb into the ring in Madison Square Garden, there’s a fascinating set of fights in position to whet fight fans’ appetites.

Here’s a look at the fight card and the full results. I’ll begin adding live round-by-round results once we’re into the main card.

REFRESH TO SEE THE LATEST UPDATE
Chantelle Cameron vs. Jessica Camara is underway

Cameron finished strong and should win 97-93. We’ll see what the official judgses have.

Cameron has regained full control of the fight through seven rounds. Camara looks fatigued and the ringside doctor is checking here left eye after every round. Cameron wants to make a statement with a finish, but Camara may be too tough–especially in a two-minute final round.

It wouldn’t be a shock to see the judges have this 4-3 in favor of Cameron, but Camara is in the fight and I didn’t think that would be the case a few rounds ago.

Camara showing some life. She had a strong fifth and sixth round and landed more heavy shots in the opening moment of the seventh. Things are getting closer.

Through the first five rounds, Cameron has begun to separate herself. She’s doing more damage with her shots and wearing Camara down. She should be up four rounds to one.

We’re seeing a step-up in class with this matchup. After a good first round from Cameron, the interim champion, Camara came back strong in the second to even the fight in my eyes.

Ramla Ali Knocks off Lila Furtado in Shocking Decision

Ariel Helwani just told Ali he doesn’t believe she won that fight to her face.

Commentary team is surprised as they all seemed to believe Ali won the fight.

Furtado has begun mauling Ali in a very Shawn-Porter-lite approach. She’s outworking Ali and walking away with the rounds.

Through three rounds, this is a serious scrap. Both women are fighting their hearts out. Ali landed a huge shot in the third that nearly caused a knockdown, but this one is close.

Furtado seems to be following Thibeault’s lead. In that first round, she was looking to land something big. Even first round mostly, but slightly in favor of Furtado for the pace she established.

It’s Over Thibeault Stops Cassamassa – TKO5

Thibeault is one of the most powerful punchers I’ve seen in women’s boxing. She’s just 3-0 after this win, but I’m interested in seeing how high she can go. Could she be a future challenger for Franchon Crews-Dezurn or even Claressa Shields?

New York , United States – 11 July 2025; Tamm Thibeault, right, and Mary Casamassa during their … More middleweight bout at Madison Square Garden in New York, USA. (Photo By Stephen McCarthy/Sportsfile via Getty Images)

Sportsfile via Getty Images

Into the third round, Thibeault has been bombing Casamassa with pretty significant power punches. She scored a knockdown in the first round and appears to be coasting to victory.

Casamassa is fighting back, but she needs something significant to happen to shift the momentum. There’s no real momentum in the building just yet–at least not through the Netflix stream just yet, but it’s early.

That said, these undercard fighters aren’t just filling space on the docket—they’re doing their best to show up like they know what’s at stake. With the spotlight fixed on MSG and history already being made by the very nature of the event, everyone who steps through the ropes should be looking to make a statement. So far, so good with Thibeault and Cassamassa.

Even before we get to the trilogy fight between two of the greatest women’s boxers of all time, we’re seeing champions unify titles, young prospects test their mettle, and veterans try to hold their ground. It’s an ideal mix of storylines, stakes, and stylistic clashes. Bravo to MVP for putting this event on. They’ve done an excellent job with the build and construction of the card.

For fans of the sport—especially those who’ve been pushing for more visibility and investment in women’s boxing—this card is a culmination and a new level for the sport.

Full Taylor-Serrano 3 Card Results

Katie Taylor (24-1-0) vs. Amanda Serrano (47-3-1): 10 Rounds – For Taylor’s undisputed women’s junior welterweight championship

Alycia Baumgardner (15-1) vs. Jennifer Miranda (12-0-0): 10 Rounds – For Baumgardner’s undisputed women’s junior lightweight championship

Savannah Marshall (13-1-0) vs. Shadasia Green (15-1-0): 10 Rounds – For Marshall’s IBF women’s super middleweight title and Green’s WBO super middleweight title

Ellie Scotney (10-0-0) vs. Yamileth Mercado (24-3-0): 10 Rounds – For Scotney’s IBF and WBO women’s junior featherweight titles and Mercado’s WBC women’s junior featherweight title

Cherneka Johnson (17-2-0) vs. Shurretta Metcalf (14-4-1): 10 Rounds – For Metcalf’s IBF women’s bantamweight title and the vacant WBO and WBC women’s bantamweight titles

Chantelle Cameron (20-1-0) vs. Jessica Camara (14-4-1): 10 Rounds – For Cameron’s WBC women’s interim junior welterweight title

Ramla Ali def.
