Kate Middleton bowed out of a recent polo match.<\/p>\n
The Princess of Wales, 43, <\/a>was absent from her husband Prince William\u2019s charity polo match<\/a> on Friday.<\/p>\n The Out-Sourcing Inc. Aaron Chown\/PA Images\/INSTARimages<\/p>\n Last year, Princess Kate missed the match, as she was undergoing chemotherapy treatment. <\/p>\n In March 2024, the philanthropist revealed she was\u00a0being\u00a0<\/a>treated\u00a0for an undisclosed type of cancer<\/a>.<\/p>\n Middleton kept largely out of the spotlight in the months that followed. In September, the royal member<\/a> thanked those who supported her<\/a> during the difficult journey.<\/p>\n The Prince Of Wales attended the polo match solo this year. Samir Hussein\/WireImage<\/p>\n \u201cAs the summer comes to an end, I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment,\u201d she wrote at the time. \u201cThe last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family.\u00a0Life as you know\u00a0it\u00a0can change\u00a0in an instant\u00a0and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and\u00a0road unknown.\u201d<\/p>\n Then, in January, Middleton shared another positive update on Instagram<\/a>, writing, \u201cIt is a relief to now be in remission and I remain focused on recovery.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAs anyone who has experienced a cancer diagnosis will know, it takes time to adjust to a new normal,\u201d she added. \u201cI am however looking forward to a fulfilling year ahead.
