Stacey Solomon was left in tears as she comforted partner Joe Swash over a heartbreaking admission the former EastEnders star made in the latest instalment of their BBC show<\/p>\n

Joe Swash was overcome with emotion, sharing a poignant personal struggle, while Stacey Solomon<\/a> provided support and solace.<\/p>\n

Returning to our screens for another engaging episode of BBC’s ‘Stacey and Joe’ on Tuesday (April 15), the series gives viewers a heartwarming peak into the couple’s domestic life since its premiere last month.<\/p>\n

In the show’s latest segment, while Stacey busied herself crafting eerie decorations for her upcoming Halloween bash, Joe set off to explore a glamping expo. There, he was confronted with the stark financial reality of his ambition to construct a fishing<\/a> lake.<\/p>\n

The episode took an intimate turn as Joe confided in Stacey about his lifelong battle with ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder), reflecting on how it has shaped him.<\/p>\n

“Being a kid, I don’t think ADHD back then was even recognised, so I had ADHD and a touch of dyslexia, so I really got tarred with the brush of being a naughty kid,” he revealed with candour, reports Wales Online<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Joe went on: “I feel like I sort of invented this character to sort of protect myself a little bit, just making people laugh.”<\/p>\n

As part of the episode’s journey, Joe visited a psychiatrist to “try and get a grip” on managing his ADHD amidst a hectic work schedule. Following the consultation, Joe considered giving medication another chance and returned home to Pickle Cottage.<\/p>\n

In a heartfelt discussion with Stacey, Joe expressed relief at having consulted the psychiatrist: “It was nice to speak to him, because he understands the ins and outs of what’s going on.”<\/p>\n

He then confided in a raw moment: “It’s opened up a box of worms for me, where it goes a little bit deeper than I thought it was going to.”<\/p>\n

Overwhelmed with emotion, Joe struggled to hold back tears, to which Stacey responded compassionately, “I know that’s difficult to think about but ultimately you’re a good person Joe and you’re not able to be your best self at the moment.<\/p>\n

“And you don’t deserve that to be happening to you. This is about getting back on your feet,” she continued.<\/p>\n

Joe, unable to contain his emotions, broke down and as he wiped away his tears, he managed to say, “Yeah… so that’s that.” In an instinctive reaction, Stacey swiftly moved to console him, enveloping him in a comforting hug and assuring him with the heartfelt words, “I love you.”<\/p>\n
