It looks like Lou Michaelis\u2019s lies have finally caught up with her<\/a> in Coronation Street after she was taken to the police station. <\/p>\n

On Friday\u2019s (11 July) episode, Gary Windass was still recovering in hospital<\/a> following his accident, with the figure becoming confused after a nurse called him \u2018Chesney Winter-Brown\u2019 and said his wife had been visiting him. <\/p>\n

After getting in touch with wife Maria, Gary discovered that he had not only suffered a severe head injury, but also that a mystery woman had been posing as his wife. <\/p>\n

Maria confided in Lou about suspicious activity seen on Gary\u2019s bank card. Worried that her visits to the hospital as Gary\u2019s fake wife were about to be exposed, Lou panicked and slipped the card into Summer Spellman’s bag. <\/p>\n

Lou then called the police and lied, saying that she\u2019d witnessed an assault and knew who the culprits were in an attempt to set Summer and Nina Lucas up. <\/p>\n

The two friends were brought in for questioning – after previously worrying they might be behind the attack<\/a> – but it quickly became clear that Lou\u2019s story didn\u2019t add up. <\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Maria had rushed to be by Gary’s bedside in hospital and checked the phone number his hospital \u2018wife\u2019 had been calling from. After becoming convinced that Lou was behind the deceit, Maria immediately searched for her.<\/p>\n

Lou tried to lie her way out of the confrontation, but made an error by mentioning the name of the shop where the crime took place. She was then led to the police station for questioning, though she still pleaded innocence. <\/p>\n

Brody found out about his mother’s arrest and quickly called Mick in prison, who told him to keep his phone on as he would be needing his help. Will Lou be able to lie her way out of this one – or is the game finally up?<\/p>\n
