Danny Rohl has returned to Sheffield Wednesday after an extended stint away.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Owls are in crisis with three embargoes placed on them going into the 2025\/26 season.<\/p>\n

Their issues have not been helped by Danny Rohl<\/a> being linked with a plethora of clubs over the last several months and deciding not to return for the beginning of the 2025 pre-season.<\/p>\n

However, EFL Analysis<\/strong> revealed earlier this week that at least\u00a0three interested parties are still looking at a takeover<\/a> of Sheffield Wednesday<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Amid a potential takeover gathering some steam, Rohl has decided he will return to the club<\/a>.<\/p>\n

However, the German returning with pre-season already underway has led to some mixed reactions, and a former player has now had his say.<\/p>\n

Rohl has been praised by Alan Biggs<\/a> for dealing with owner Dejphon Chansiri.<\/p>\n

But not all the reaction towards the manager over the last week has been positive.<\/p>\n

Sheffield Wednesday fans reacted to Rohl returning<\/a> this week, and the Owls fanbase is pretty split.<\/p>\n

Now, ex-player Jon Newsome has shared his feelings on the matter, choosing to view it as a positive but also understanding why some fans aren\u2019t happy.<\/p>\n

He told BBC Radio Sheffield<\/a>: \u201cThere has been so much negativity about Sheffield Wednesday, it\u2019s nice to have a little bit of something positive.<\/p>\n

\u201cOn the other side, I don\u2019t think he\u2019s covered himself in any glory by how he\u2019s gone about things and I think some Wednesday fans will find it a bitter pill to swallow.\u201d<\/p>\n

The reaction of fans has been mixed, while EFL Analysis<\/strong> has gained an insight into how Sheffield Wednesday players feel about Rohl<\/a> after his comeback.<\/p>\n

And some of the current Owls stars feel let down by the former Bayern Munich coach after he stayed away amid the financial crisis.<\/p>\n

They are also thought to be unhappy that Rohl has not been present for the start of pre-season training.<\/p>\n
