In a new social media post, the Riverdale alum shows off her sensational body in a bare-there bikini while lounging in the sun. \u201cJust gonna leave this here,\u201d she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. \u201cSo pretty,\u201d commented one of her followers. \u201cOk sexy,\u201d added another. How does she keep herself in such fantastic shape? Here are her best diet and fitness tips.<\/p>\n<p>Madelaine is all about exercising, but takes breaks. \u201cI used to feel like I \u2018had\u2019 to work out everyday, I\u2019m not sure why. But lately I\u2019ve been going to the gym when it sounds fun to me and more for my mental health. I\u2019ve honestly never felt better or seen better results in my strength. Listen to your body,\u201d Petsch said \u201cThe thing I love most about my body is how perplexed I am about all the things it can do. The more I learn about my body the more fascinated I am by it,\u201d she added in a Body Scan video for <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer external\" href=\"https:\/\/www.womenshealthmag.com\/health\/a33512715\/madelaine-petsch-body-scan\/\" target=\"_blank\">Women\u2019s Health<\/a>. \u201cThe more I move the happier I\u2019ll be. I link my mental health to working out.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Madelaine has been a vegan for years. She prioritizes protein in her diet. \u201cProtein is something I really have to be aware of in every meal, or else my energy levels just go completely downhill,\u201d she told Women\u2019s Health. She added that she\u2019s \u201csuch a carb fan,\u201d but instead of eating white pasta, she eats a lot of protein pasta, like red lentil pasta. \u201cI need to hit my salivary glands, and I also need to hit my protein.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Madelaine rides horses, an excellent hobby for mental and physical health. \u201cWholesome,\u201d she captioned a snap of herself riding. According to the <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer external\" href=\"https:\/\/www.heart.org\/en\/healthy-living\/healthy-bond-for-life-pets\/pet-owners\/horses-have-heart\/6-health-benefits-of-horses\" target=\"_blank\">American Heart Association<\/a>, riding horses is great for your health. It boosts cardiovascular health, builds core strength, burns calories, and lowers blood pressure. It is also great for your mental health as it helps relax you.<\/p>\n<p>If you want flat abs, work for them, says Madelaine. \u201cThe body part I love exercising the most is my abs. I think that my abs feel the most pain and I love the feeling of being sore,\u201d she told Women\u2019s Health. \u201cMy trainer does this thing called six-minute abs, which is honestly deathly. They are the hardest thing ever.\u201d He doesn\u2019t tell me what it is, every minute or 30 seconds he\u2019ll switch to a new thing but he\u2019ll never tell me because then my brain can\u2019t anticipate it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\tFollow Her Healthy Diet\/slidetitle]<\/p>\n<p>Madelaine detailed her diet to Women\u2019s Health. \u201cI always eat breakfast,\u201d she said. However, her next meal may not be until way later. \u201cIt\u2019ll be 5 p.m. and I haven\u2019t had lunch. My energy levels will completely drop. That\u2019s where I struggle, making time to eat because I\u2019ll forget.\u201d She also outlined her diet to <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer external\" href=\"http:\/\/people.com\/health\/riverdale-madelaine-petsch-what-i-eat-in-a-day\/\" target=\"_blank\">People<\/a>, which amounts to 1,700 calories daily.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Breakfast: Overnight oats made with organic oats, almond milk, chia seeds, cacao nibs, raspberries, and coffee with more almond milk.<\/li>\n<li>Snack: Apple with almond butter; one scoop of Macro Greens powder with water<\/li>\n<li>Lunch: Spinach salad topped with cranberries, walnuts, chickpeas, brown rice, and green goddess dressing.<\/li>\n<li>Snack: NuGo Slim Crunchy Peanut Butter Vegan Protein Bar<\/li>\n<li>Dinner: Broccoli \u201csteak\u201d (two heads of broccoli sliced, spiced, and roasted) with vegan cheddar \u201ccheese\u201d with a side of brown rice and black beans.<\/li>\n<li>Dessert: Vegan banana ice cream<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Madelaine Petsch is dropping new swimsuit snaps for her followers.
