A big week lies ahead for Sheffield Wednesday, and EFL Analysis can exclusively reveal what has been said behind the scenes regarding Danny Rohl\u2019s position at the club.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The past week has been particularly chaotic for Sheffield Wednesday<\/a>, with potential buyers taking positive steps<\/a> towards purchasing the club from Dejphon Chansiri<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Amid all of that news, it also emerged that Danny Rohl<\/a> would be coming back to S6 to pick up where he left off as the Owls boss.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s despite spending all summer putting himself in the window for other jobs like Middlesbrough, Leicester City, and Southampton.<\/p>\n

His sensational U-turn was thrown into jeopardy as we revealed several Sheffield Wednesday players were unhappy with Rohl<\/a> and had voiced their concerns to the board.<\/p>\n

It has been reported that Rohl and his players will reunite on Monday<\/a> and crunch talks will take place in an attempt to clear the air.<\/p>\n

Now, in an EFL Analysis<\/strong> exclusive courtesy of our Chief Football Correspondent Graeme Bailey, we can reveal how the club feel about the whole situation.<\/p>\n

We are told the hierarchy at Hillsborough have essentially told players that Rohl will not be sacked regardless of their frustration at his actions this summer, and that everyone needs to move on from the matter.<\/p>\n

While the cost of sacking Rohl does factor into that decision, it is said the club also recognises that they have a good manager who is the best man for the job.<\/p>\n

We understand top figures at the club recognise that Rohl\u2019s behaviour this summer has not been ideal, but have made it clear to those players that did complain that he will remain in charge.<\/p>\n

Getting the Rohl matter settled and moving on from that will be a massive step for the Owls. While some players may be unhappy it is definitely in the best interests of all involved to get on with their jobs and try to work harmoniously.<\/p>\n

While Rohl won\u2019t be able to spend any money this summer, there are still plenty of free agents<\/a> he could tempt to Hillsborough and loan signings the Owls could make to bolster the squad.<\/p>\n

If Rohl and his coaching staff \u2014 including the brilliant Henrik Pedersen, who recently signed a new contract<\/a> \u2014 can plug the gaps in the playing squad, it will then be a case of getting the takeover completed to protect the club long-term, as well.<\/p>\n

We know there are multiple bidders looking at Sheffield Wednesday<\/a>, with an agreement thought to be in place already.
