Oasis guitarist Paul Arthurs issued a five-word message to fans at Heaton Park<\/a> moments after stepping off stage.<\/p>\n

The rhythm guitarist, better known as Bonehead, was a part of the group from 1994 until 1999 when he decided to leave the band. Over the years, he has worked with Liam Gallagher on his solo work and as part of his side-project Beady Eye.<\/p>\n

This evening (July 12), Oasis played their second homecoming show after a triumphant first show last night as part of the band\u2019s Live \u201825 tour, which officially kicked off in Cardiff last week.<\/p>\n

The first show last night was described by the Manchester Evening News as a \u2018homecoming of epic proportions\u2019 <\/a>and featured a setlist made up of fan favourites and their biggest hits.<\/p>\n

Just minutes after finishing tonight\u2019s show, Bonehead took to social media to share his verdict on the crowd, simply saying: \u201cYou did it again Manchester\u201d. The post was followed by three emojis depicting a round of applause.<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cSee you on Wednesday.\u201d In response to the post, one fan commented: \u201cYou did it again for all of us.” Another said: \u201cyous smashed it!!” One other posted: “Amazing night\u201d.<\/p>\n

The comment also geared fans up for the next three shows – which will also take place next weekend as well as on Wednesday. One person wrote: \u201cSee you next Saturday my friend.” Another said: “Keep plenty in the tank for next Sunday please Bonehead. Literally beside myself watching all this footage!!<\/p>\n

One fan also commented: \u201cI’ll be there on Wednesday, first time I’ve seen you since 2002 at Finsbury Park. I’m coming with my wife and 2 sons, 22 and 16 – they are just as excited as I was back in 2002. That’s Oasis, that’s what it’s all about. Thank you for allowing me to experience this with my boys.\u201d<\/p>\n

Prior to their opening shows in Cardiff at the start of July 2025, the last time Oasis played together was at V Festival in August 2009. The 19-song setlist included hits like Rock \u2018n\u2019 Roll Star, Cigarettes & Alcohol and Wonderwall, and they concluded their last show with I Am The Walrus.<\/p>\n

After Manchester, there will be shows in cities including Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin before heading out on a string of international dates later this year.<\/p>\n
