A teenager has been rushed to hospital<\/a> following a late-night “serious assault” in the southside of Glasgow.<\/p>\n

Emergency services were called to Belleisle Street in Govanhill<\/a>, at the junction with Dixon Avenue, at around 11.35pm on Friday, July 11.<\/p>\n

Police have said a 19-year-old man<\/a> was taken to hospital for treatment. His condition is currently unknown.<\/p>\n

Three men were believed to have headed in the direction of Dixon Avenue around the time of the incident<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Officers are now looking for anybody with information or footage that may help their enquiries<\/a> to contact them.<\/p>\n

Detective Sergeant Paul McKenna said: \u201cI\u2019m appealing for anyone who was in the area<\/a> at the time and saw what happened to come forward.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m especially keen to speak to anyone<\/a> who saw three men heading in the direction of Dixon Avenue.<\/p>\n

\u201cDrivers with dash-cams are also asked to please review your footage<\/a> for anything of significance.\u201d<\/p>\n
