Taskmaster<\/a> creator Alex Horne<\/a> has teased details of an “exotic” guest star for the upcoming 21st season.<\/p>\n

The comedy panel game show<\/a> will return in the coming months for its next instalment of puzzle-solving and mischief, with Ania Magliano, Maisie Adam, Phil Ellis, Reece Shearsmith and Sanjeev Bhaskar confirmed to be taking part in the 20th season<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Horne, who co-hosts the Channel 4 series with Greg Davies, is already looking ahead to the season beyond that, with the comedian telling RadioTimes<\/a> that there will be some exciting developments.<\/p>\n

“There are two things that are new. [Firstly] we’re filming somewhere as well as the house – somewhere that’s pretty mad,” he teased. “And we have a special guest [in] this [season] from somewhere exotic who you’ll recognise. That’s all I can say.”<\/p>\n

Horne’s comments come following the cast announcement for the 20th season, which has the “almighty” Davies and his “faithful admin keeper” gather a line-up containing some of the “most brilliant” and “eclectic” comedy minds (via Channel 4<\/a>).<\/p>\n

The reveal itself came after the conclusion of the series’ 19th season, which saw Mathew Baynton crowned as the champion<\/a> in a hotly-contested battle with Stevie Martin, Jason Mantzoukas, Rosie Ramsey and Fatiha El-Ghorri.<\/p>\n

Baynton, who has starred in Ghosts and A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, has spoken of his mixed feelings regarding his triumph<\/a> and potential appearance in an All-Stars season of the series. <\/p>\n

“I\u2019m just really happy. I was having so much fun,” said the actor and comedian. “I did start thinking, ‘oh, it would be really nice [to be the champion]’ because winning means a repeat of the experience. <\/p>\n

“The number one thing about winning is thinking, ‘Oh, great, I get to go back.’ I guess the only sadness about getting to go back is that I won\u2019t be sat with those guys, because they were so much fun.”<\/p>\n

Taskmaster<\/strong> will return with season 20 soon, airing and streaming on <\/strong>Channel 4<\/strong><\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n
