Ben Stevenson, wellbeing and lifestyle coordinator at Sutton Park Grange care home, has successfully completed the gruelling National Three Peaks Challenge, raising\u00a0\u00a31,518\u00a0for Dementia UK. On\u00a0June 28, Ben climbed the highest mountains in\u00a0Scotland (Ben Nevis),\u00a0England (Scafell Pike), and\u00a0Wales (Snowdon\/Yr Wyddfa)\u00a0– all within\u00a024 hours, including travel time between the peaks. <\/p>\n

The challenge is one of the UK\u2019s toughest endurance events and tests both physical stamina and mental resilience. Reflecting on the experience, Ben said: \u201cBen Nevis turned out to be the easiest of the three, as the weather was dry and I was full of energy. Scafell Pike was the hardest – freezing rain, strong winds and a dark descent made it a real test. <\/p>\n
