Leeds United are trying to secure more new signings before the Premier League season begins. <\/strong><\/p>\n The Whites have recruited well so far this summer, but it\u2019s widely accepted that more new faces are needed to give them the best chance of avoiding relegation. <\/p>\n With that in mind, fans may be excited to hear about the latest developments in the club\u2019s pursuit of Hoffenheim midfielder Anton Stach.<\/p>\n Leeds have been linked with Stach for a while<\/a>, but have yet to submit an official bid for him yet. <\/p>\n There should be nothing preventing them from doing so soon, though, as Hoffenheim have named the price that they\u2019re willing to sell him for. <\/p>\n A report from the Sunday Mirror (13 July, page 76) suggests Leeds will have to pay \u00a317.25 million if they want Stach in their midfield. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n This represents a significant development in Leeds\u2019 pursuit of the German international, with whom they have said to have held talks over. <\/p>\n Hoffenheim were initially reluctant to sell their star midfielder, but are now focusing on generating as much cash for him as possible.<\/p>\n Leeds may have competition in their efforts to sign him though, as Eintracht Frankfurt are also believed to be interested in making a bid.<\/p>\n There\u2019s clearly a lot of talent in Leeds\u2019 squad, considering they collected 100 points on their way to becoming Championship<\/a> winners.<\/p>\n However, the recruitment of Stach<\/a> would bring Leeds up to the next level. <\/p>\n Anton Stach 2024-25 statistics<\/p>\n At 26 years old, Stach is reaching his peak as a player<\/a>, and he would certainly appear to have all the attributes to thrive in the Premier League. He has two Germany caps but is certainly capable of adding to that tally. <\/p>\n Leeds\u2019 pursuit of Stach is testament to their desire to remain in the top division. A \u00a317m transfer is no small chunk of change but the 49ers group<\/a> have committed to backing Daniel Farke<\/a> in the transfer market.
