Prince Louis<\/a> has yet to join one of his family’s favorite summer outings.\n<\/p>\n Prince Louis, 7, wasn’t present when his parents, Kate Middleton<\/a> and Prince William<\/a>, and elder siblings, Prince George<\/a> and Princess Charlotte<\/a>, attended the gentlemen’s singles final of Wimbledon<\/a> on July 13. Kensington Palace announced ahead of their arrival that the Prince and Princess of Wales would attend the competition, and it was a surprise that they brought George and Charlotte along.\n<\/p>\n At 7 years old, Prince Louis is still younger than his big brother, Prince George, 11, and sister, Princess Charlotte, 10, were when they attended Wimbledon for the first time. Prince George first attended the athletic event<\/a> in 2022, taking in the men’s final with Princess Kate and Prince William before getting a chance to hold\u00a0Novak Djokovic<\/a>‘s trophy, shortly before his 9th birthday. Princess Charlotte was also 8 for her Wimbledon debut<\/a> in 2023.\n<\/p>\n Prince Louis may be spending a solo day at home with the family’s beloved longtime nanny, Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo<\/a>, or his grandparents, Carole<\/a> and Michael Middleton<\/a>. Although the Royal Box is typically off-limits to kids<\/a>, given the high demand for a spot in one of the 74 seats, exceptions are made for royal children.\n<\/p>\n Despite his young age, Prince Louis has attended several major royal events, including Queen Elizabeth<\/a>‘s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June 2022 and his grandfather King Charles’ coronation<\/a> in May 2023.\n<\/p>\n No matter the event, the prince’s playful nature shines through. At Trooping the Colour last month, he charmed the crowds<\/a> with his smiles and waves during the horse-drawn carriage ride through London and on the Buckingham Palace balcony.
