{"id":26212,"date":"2025-04-17T01:21:08","date_gmt":"2025-04-17T01:21:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/26212\/"},"modified":"2025-04-17T01:21:08","modified_gmt":"2025-04-17T01:21:08","slug":"woodside-signs-lng-supply-deal-with-germanys-uniper-capital-brief","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/26212\/","title":{"rendered":"Woodside signs LNG supply deal with Germany\u2019s Uniper \u2014 Capital Brief"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>The news:<\/b> Woodside Energy has signed an agreement with Germany\u2019s Uniper to supply liquefied natural gas (LNG) from its Louisiana project and its global portfolio.<\/p>\n<p><b>The numbers:<\/b> Under the deal, Australia\u2019s top oil and gas producer will supply Uniper 1.0 million tonnes per annum of LNG from its upcoming Louisiana project in the US and up to 1.0 mtpa from its global portfolio.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Louisiana LNG will supply the gas on a free-on-board basis for up to 13 years from the date of its commercial operations. In addition, Woodside Energy Trading Singapore will supply gas on a delivered ex-ship basis from Woodside\u2019s global portfolio into Europe, over a term until 2039.<\/p>\n<p><b>The context:<\/b> Woodside CEO Meg O\u2019Neill said the agreements represent another important milestone to move Louisiana LNG towards a final investment decision.
