A new “interactive experience<\/a> ” is set to be installed in a busy Bristol plaza, with residents invited to contribute to its creation. We The Curious has announced the addition to Millennium Square, which it is calling the Curious Timeline.<\/p>\n The science centre and educational charity is calling on people in the area to share their memories<\/a> and photos from the venue’s past to shape the timeline, as it looks to celebrate its 25th birthday.<\/p>\n Since it opened, 6.6 million people have visited We The Curious<\/a>, meaning there are potentially millions of moments to be shared. These memories will form the interactive timeline, brought to life by local artists and Creative Youth Network. It will live inside and outside the We The Curious building and will open later this year for all to explore.<\/p>\n A spokesperson for the attraction said: “We The Curious is asking everyone – families, teachers, science lovers, old team members, city explorers and more – to dig into their phones, photo albums and memories and send them what you find.<\/p>\n “Whether you remember the docks area before it was developed<\/a>, feel nostalgic for the early days of Explore At-Bristol<\/a>, felt inspired as part of a school group, met your true love in the caf\u00e9, worked behind the scenes, or experienced a mind-melting moment in the Planetarium, We The Curious wants to hear your story.”<\/p>\n The timeline will be made up of several elements, with local artists and organisations working to bring it to life. Donna Speed, CEO at We The Curious, added: \u201cThis month we celebrate 25 years of curiosity, and one year since we reopened<\/a>. It feels like the perfect time to celebrate our place in the city, alongside everyone who has been a part of our journey. And there\u2019s a lot of us, almost seven million have been through our doors.<\/p>\n \u201cWe The Curious is more than just a building; it\u2019s a space that reflects and is shaped by the people who use it and their curiosity, so it\u2019s really important that the Curious Timeline is as much about Bristol and its people as it is about us. We can\u2019t tell our story without yours!<\/p>\n \u201cThe last 25 years have seen huge change – in the city centre, in science and curiosity, and in how we connect with each other.
