Sheffield Wednesday has heated up<\/a> in recent weeks, with it looking as though Dejphon Chansiri\u2019s reign is coming to its end.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the departure of players, with <a href=\"https:\/\/eflanalysis.com\/transfers\/club-president-is-very-happy-after-confirming-the-signing-of-sheffield-wednesday-star\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Anthony Musaba leaving Sheffield Wednesday<\/a>, while Djeidi Gassama looks likely to follow him out of the exit door, positive news has started to trickle into the club.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/eflanalysis.com\/news\/how-sheffield-wednesday-chiefs-really-feel-about-danny-rohl-in-the-wake-of-player-complaints\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Danny Rohl decided to stay at the club<\/a> due to the growing realisation that a takeover of the club is near, and since then, a price has been agreed with one party.<\/p>\n<p>Reports suggest that <a href=\"https:\/\/eflanalysis.com\/news\/new-name-heading-up-a-consortium-to-secure-takeover-of-sheffield-wednesday-now-shared\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Francesco Guardascione is heading up a consortium<\/a> pursuing a purchase of Sheffield Wednesday, with BBC reporter Rob Staton suggesting that he was a \u2018name to know\u2019, but an alternative figure has been reported as the man href=\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/sport\/35822203\/sheffield-wednesday-owner-chansiri-debts-sale-update\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Sun<\/a>, Sheffield Wednesday have reportedly received an offer from US sports entrepreneur Tilman Fertitta.<\/p>\n<p>Whilst the fee has been kept secret, The Sun reporter Alan Nixon revealed that \u2018Fertitta may lodge cash to help settle some bills in the short term\u2019 to help the running of the club.<\/p>\n<p>Nixon also mentioned that Fertitta is \u2018a far more credible candidate than many who have chased the Yorkshire club ownership\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Just days ago, <a href=\"https:\/\/eflanalysis.com\/news\/new-name-heading-up-a-consortium-to-secure-takeover-of-sheffield-wednesday-now-shared\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Alan Biggs reported that Fertitta was \u2018one of the contenders\u2019<\/a> to take over at Sheffield Wednesday, with Dejphon Chansiri now actively looking for a buyer.<\/p>\n<p><img personality, with the 68-year-old accumulating a wealth of over $10 billion.<\/p>\n<p>The US businessman has made his name in several ventures, including hotels, casinos, entertainment and also sport, with Fertitta acquiring the Houston Rockets for an NBA record of $2.2 billion.<\/p>\n<p>On the surface, Fertitta has a significant financial backing and previous experience working in sport, which would hopefully translate into a successful period at Sheffield Wednesday if he bought the club.<\/p>\n<p>There is plenty of concern over alternative contender Francesco Guardascione, which will
