Dominic Calvert-Lewin has been linked with a move to Leeds United on a free transfer after his Everton exit.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Leeds United have had a slow start<\/a> to the summer window, and have left themselves just over a month to get the Premier League quality signings that they need before the campaign gets underway.<\/p>\n

Four new arrivals have landed at Elland Road<\/a> so far this summer, with several more anticipated over the next few weeks, including a striker.<\/p>\n

Calvert-Lewin\u2019s exit from Everton opened up a door for the Whites to pursue a move, though it wouldn\u2019t be without a major risk.<\/p>\n

Nikola Krstovic has been heavily linked with Leeds<\/a> this summer, though a deal for the Serie A forward is becoming increasingly unlikely.<\/p>\n

Instead, Calvert-Lewin has emerged as an option<\/a>, alongside previously linked Callum Wilson, and Paul Robinson thinks either signing would be a huge risk.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds News<\/strong>, he said: \u201cWell, there are three strikers that have been heavily\u00a0linked to Leeds. Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Beto and Callum Wilson. <\/p>\n

\u201cThe age of Callum Wilson, the age of Calvert-Lewin, you\u2019re taking a risk on somebody who\u2019s not going to score the amount of goals that you\u2019re going to need to stay in the Premier League.<\/p>\n

\u201cCalvert-Lewin, you\u2019re going to have to take a big risk on the wages, and you\u2019re getting a player that in the last three seasons hasn\u2019t done it regularly.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you got Wilson or Calvert-Lewin on a pay-as-you-play\u00a0deal, and you had another who was going to play regularly, then you\u2019d take that opportunity.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cBut I think for them, they have to go somewhere,\u00a0whether it be a pay-as-you-play deal or not, and prove that they can play week in and week out.\u201d<\/p>\n

Leeds\u2019 business so far has been solid, yet unspectacular.<\/p>\n

Aside from Jaka Bijol<\/a>, the Whites are yet to make an addition that raises the ceiling of their squad, and that needs to change in the coming weeks if they are to stay in the Premier League.<\/p>\n

Daniel Farke will be fully aware of the task that awaits him, and he needs to be given the tools required to have a real go at it.<\/p>\n
