Edwardian-style building with a big gold plaque outside labelled \u2018India House\u2019 \u2013 it\u2019s even more impressive when you learn that <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/themanc.com\/tag\/noel-gallagher\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Noel Gallagher<\/a><\/strong> had a flat here.<\/p>\n<p>Legend has it the Gallagher brother came up with lots of the Britpop band\u2019s most legendary hits including \u2018Rock \u2018n\u2019 Roll Star\u2019 here. width:calc(100% - 2px);\"\/>\n<p>The next place isn\u2019t just an iconic Oasis location, it\u2019s also one of the most important as it\u2019s where the band came to fruition.<\/p>\n<p>This terraced property is the childhood home of founding Oasis member and guitarist, Paul Arthurs, more often known by his nickname \u2018Bonehead\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>The West Didsbury house is also a part of global music history with the band shooting the artwork for their 1994 debut studio album <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/themanc.com\/tag\/definitely-maybe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Definitely Maybe<\/a><\/strong>, now one of the most recognisable <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/themanc.com\/tag\/britpop\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Britpop<\/a><\/strong> covers ever.<\/p>\n<p>Where to find: 8 Stratford Avenue, West Didsbury, Manchester, M20 2LH<\/p>\n<p>Fog Lane Park<\/p>\n<p>The Didsbury green space has a very special place in the Oasis brothers\u2019 hearts after being an outdoor area they used to play football at growing up.<\/p>\n<p>Eagle-eyed Oasis fans will be able to recognise particular shots from the band\u2019s \u2018Shakermaker\u2019 music video which features Fog Lane Park and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/themanc.com\/tag\/burton-road\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Burton Road.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This park is also not too far from Sifter\u2019s Records, another notable Manc spot for the band, which also sits pretty on, you guessed it, Fog Lane. <\/p>\n<p>Where to find: 139 Fog Ln, Parkville Rd, Park, Manchester M20 4UP<\/p>\n<p>Johnny Roadhouse Music<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/C5oFfEJMKiT\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"14\" style=\" background:#FFF;
