How does she approach health and fitness? Here are her top diet and fitness habits.<\/p>\n<p>Bella makes sure to eat before exercising. \u201cI count on a smoothie, a juice, or a protein drink 30 minutes before the session. After the session, I eat something full of protein like chicken and wholegrain rice. It\u2019s ideal to strengthen the muscle mass and to increase the effects of the session,\u201d she dished to French Vogue.<\/p>\n<p>Bella also prioritizes hydration and rest. \u201cI try to drink as much water, and get as much sleep, as I can,\u201d she told <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer external\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.harpersbazaar.com\/uk\/beauty\/make-up-nails\/a44182516\/bella-hadid-beauty\/\">Harper\u2019s Bazaar<\/a>. According to the <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer external\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mayoclinic.org\/healthy-lifestyle\/nutrition-and-healthy-eating\/in-depth\/water\/art-20044256\">Mayo Clinic<\/a>, hydration is essential for various reasons. Water helps eliminate waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.df44d9eab23ea271ddde7545ae2c09ec<\/p>\n<p>Bella eats a nutritious diet. \u201cWe\u2019re on the go so much that it\u2019s hard to eat clean, but I always feel better when I do,\u201d she told Harper\u2019s Bazaar. \u201cI\u2019ve always had a difficult relationship with food. In high school, my relationship with food came from not having control, but food was the one thing I could control. So I would micromanage and make schedules for food, but it\u2019s more important to check what\u2019s good for your body and your own biology,\u201d she added in another interview with <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer external\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.harpersbazaar.com\/beauty\/health\/a42582448\/bella-hadid-kin-euphorics-and-sakara-life-collaboration\/\">Harper\u2019s Bazaar<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Bella enjoys snowboarding. According to the <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer external\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.urmc.rochester.edu\/encyclopedia\/content.aspx?contenttypeid=1&amp;contentid=4519\">University of Rochester<\/a>, snowboarding, like skiing, is a great cardiovascular workout. \u201cBecause they are also weight-bearing exercises, they strengthen your bones as they tone your muscles,\u201d they say. \u201cCardiovascular or aerobic exercises also reduce your risk for chronic diseases, and lower blood pressure. They also help you maintain a healthy body weight. Through regular aerobic exercise like skiing and snowboarding, you lower your risk of developing conditions like diabetes and heart disease, having a stroke, and perhaps even getting cancer.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bella is all about getting vitamin D. \u201cI always say that first thing in the morning, you have to start your day by staring at the sun. When I was going through a difficult time, I would pull myself out of bed, open the blinds, and then just stare at the sun. But it\u2019s so true! And now, I have a sun light and I drink Actual Sunshine, our new Kin flavor, which honestly makes me feel like I\u2019m walking on air,\u201d Bella told <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer external\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.harpersbazaar.com\/beauty\/health\/a42582448\/bella-hadid-kin-euphorics-and-sakara-life-collaboration\/\">Harper\u2019s Bazaar<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Bella maintains a sober lifestyle. \u201cI don\u2019t feel the need [to drink alcohol] because I know how it will affect me at 3 in the morning when I wake up with horrible anxiety thinking about that one thing I said five years ago when I graduated high school,\u201d said Hadid in an interview with <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer external\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instyle.com\/beauty\/health-fitness\/bella-hadid-dry-january-kin-euphorics\">InStyle<\/a> in January 2022. \u201cThere\u2019s just this never-ending effect of, essentially, you know, pain and stress over those few drinks that didn\u2019t really do much, you know?\u201d In July 2023, she revealed that with \u201cself love\u201d she was ten months sober. \u201cI\u2019m so proud of anyone pushing through dry July,\u201d she wrote, promoting her non-alcoholic beverage drink Kin Euphorics.
