Chelsea produced an outstanding display to beat Paris Saint-Germain 3-0 and win the Club World Cup.<\/p>\n

Victory over the Champions League holders commenced with two carbon copy goals from Cole Palmer<\/a> into the bottom left corner.<\/p>\n

Joao Pedro<\/a> delightfully chipped over Gianluigi Donnarumma shortly before half-time to put Chelsea<\/a> in dreamland.<\/p>\n

“What a performance,” Troy Deeney told talkSPORT at half-time. “Clinical, everyone’s playing 10 out of 10, no mistakes. <\/p>\n

“And PSG just haven’t been up to the level, but it kind of feels like PSG have been PSG’d. <\/p>\n

“Chelsea have been excellent from the start to the finish.”<\/p>\n

Chelsea weren’t as threatening in attack during the second half but were defensively resilient as PSG eyed a way back into the match.<\/p>\n

Joao Neves was sent off late on after a VAR review for pulling Marc Cucurella’s hair before the Blues saw out their deserved win.<\/p>\n

However, tensions boiled over at the final whistle, with PSG boss Luis Enrqiue appearing to grab Pedro’s neck before pushing him.<\/p>\n

Enzo Maresca held his Chelsea players back to continue the celebrations, with the squad wearing personalised shirts for the occasion.<\/p>\n

Not only have Chelsea won more silverware, they have banked around \u00a393million in prize money<\/a> from their tournament success.<\/p>\n

It’s also their second ever Club World Cup title after winning the 2021 edition, and first in the revamped 32-team competition.<\/p>\n

Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez had arguably his greatest game for the club and produced a strong save early in the first half.<\/p>\n

Moments later, Palmer opened the scoring with a left-footed finish after some good work down the right from Malo Gusto.<\/p>\n

He doubled the lead for Chelsea on the half-hour mark, this time with a replica of his first following Levi Colwill’s ball.<\/p>\n

Palmer then turned provider just before the break by feeding the ball through to Pedro, who netted his third goal in three matches.<\/p>\n

Chelsea finished behind Flamengo in Group D to meet Benfica in the last 16, where they won 4-1 after extra-time and adverse weather.<\/p>\n

The Blues then met incoming summer signing Estevao Willian in their 2-1 quarter-final victory before a 2-0 win over Fluminense.<\/p>\n

Maresca’s side thoroughly impressed during the knockout stages but saved their best performance for last on Sunday night.<\/p>\n

PSG arrived as the favourites having just thumped Real Madrid 4-0 in their semi-final clash.<\/p>\n

They also conceded just once their six previous matches but were left undone by the attacking quality from Chelsea.<\/p>\n

The Blues are now world champions and will enter the 2025\/26 season with immense confidence.<\/p>\n

However, the day ended on a sour note as a brawl broke out after the game between PSG and Chelsea.<\/p>\n

PSG boss Luis Enrique appeared to grab Chelsea’s Joao Pedro by the throat as things descended into chaos.<\/p>\n
