Ferrari has confirmed that Lewis Hamilton is set to continue with his recent change of following Charles Leclerc’s set-up in upcoming races.<\/p>\n
Around the time of the Japanese GP, Leclerc moved towards a more oversteer-inclined set-up for his SF-25, with this bringing a relative upturn in results for the Monegasque, who banked four podiums in the eight races after Suzuka.\u00a0<\/p>\n
By contrast, Hamilton has struggled to adapt to his Ferrari machine and remains without a podium at the half-way mark of the season, setting an unwanted career record of 14 races without a podium after finishing fourth at Silverstone.\u00a0<\/p>\n
However, at the Austrian GP, Hamilton revealed that he had been migrating towards Leclerc’s set-up, despite this incurring more tyre wear for the seven-time champion.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Addressing the change in Hamilton’s set-up, deputy team boss Jerome D’Ambrosio has confirmed that it is a direction Hamilton will be following for the foreseeable future.<\/p>\n
