Alejandro Garnacho and Marcus Rashford trained together at Manchester United’s training ground last week.<\/p>\n
Garnacho and Rashford were on site at United’s Carrington training complex on Thursday and sources say the pair did ball-work together on one of the training pitches.<\/p>\n
The United first-team squad had left the premises by the time the pair arrived and the only other team present were the under 10s.<\/p>\n
Rashford has reported for regular individual sessions at United’s training base. He arrived via the rear entrance eight minutes after head coach Ruben Amorim left through the front on Friday.<\/p>\n
The United squad began reporting for pre-season medicals last Monday and participated in full training sessions.<\/p>\n
Garnacho donned an Aston Villa shirt with ‘Rashford 9’ printed on it whilst on holiday last month. Rashford expressed his gratitude with a comment on Garnacho’s Instagram post that read, “My brother”.<\/p>\n
United agreed with Rashford, Garnacho, Antony, Jadon Sancho and Tyrell Malacia that they would delay their returns for pre-season training as they all want to leave the club.<\/p>\n
Medical and rehabilitation facilities have been made available to the five players and the club are offering remote support.<\/p>\n
Rashford has expressed a desire to join Barcelona, who fleetingly considered recruiting him on loan in the winter transfer window. Barcelona have been long-time admirers of Rashford.<\/p>\n
Garnacho has been linked with a move to Napoli and Chelsea<\/a>, who were both interested in the Argentine in January.
