Hollyoaks<\/a> is giving fans the rare opportunity to star in their favourite soap as part of the upcoming 30th anniversary \u2013 and to be \u2018killed\u2019 on screen. <\/p>\n

The long-running Channel 4<\/a> soap will mark the big 3-0 in October and, in the lead up to the event, fans can apply to be crowned the serial\u2019s ultimate super-fan.<\/p>\n

In a move that is pure Hollyoaks, the winner be invited onto the show\u2019s iconic set to film an exclusive scene, with their character \u2018killed\u2019 by local serial killer Jez Blake<\/a> (Jeremy Sheffield<\/a>). <\/p>\n

Jez, as viewers know, has thus far claimed the lives<\/a> of fan-favourite Dilly Harcourt<\/a> (Emma Johnsey-Smith) and domestic abuser Abe Fielding (Tyler Conti), as well as social worker Ian.<\/p>\n

It was also confirmed that he was also to blame for the demise of Dennis Savage (Joe Tracini), who was last seen in the show in 2018, and he has murdered countless others over the decades, keeping track of his victims in a little book. <\/p>\n

In order to be in with a chance of becoming his next victim, fans can apply through a submission form <\/a>and a 30 second video, in which they have the platform to tell show bosses why they are the ultimate fan. <\/p>\n

The entry period will run for 7 days \u2013 starting from now! \u2013 with more details set to be revealed in due closure. <\/p>\n

There is currently very little known about what the 30th anniversary will entail, with bosses keeping tight-lipped, but Ste Hay star Kieron Richardson told Metro<\/strong>: \u2018There\u2019s been a huge rumour going round the building of what is actually happening on the 30th.<\/p>\n

\u2018I\u2019ve done a lot of these interviews and I\u2019ve probably lied to you in the past going \u201cWe don\u2019t know what\u2019s happening in the future!\u201d, but I promise you, hand on heart, we genuinely do not know what\u2019s happening for the 30th.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u2018There have been some rumours and I would say if this rumour is true it will be the most epic viewing the audience would ever have watching episodes of Hollyoaks.\u00a0Epic!\u2018<\/p>\n

Hollyoaks streams Mondays to Wednesdays from 6am on\u00a0Channel 4<\/a>\u2019s streaming platform, or catch episodes on TV at 7pm on E4<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
