\n\tThe princess attended day 14 of the Wimbledon Tennis Championships at the All England Tennis and Croquet Club in London on Sunday, alongside her parents and her older brother Prince George, 11. (Their younger brother Prince Louis, 7, was not in attendance.) At the event, Charlotte looked chic and all grown up in a white sundress with navy trim along a ruffled neckline, and a tiny navy bow around her waist. The sleeveless midi dress was paired with white ballet flats and accessorized with white bracelets. Her long brown hair was pulled back away from her face in a braided style with a blue bow that matched her mom\u2019s royal blue gown.<\/p>\n

The tween had her nails painted with a fun, bubblegum pink color, which is a marked change from her normally clean, unpolished nails. Queen Elizabeth II wore Essie\u2019s Ballet Slippers Nail Polish<\/a> in a light pink. \u201cThis always elegant lacquer was born in 1982 and received royal blessings from the Queen of England, just seven years after its birth,\u201d the company shared with\u00a0Today<\/a>\u00a0back in 2017. \u201cElizabeth II\u2019s hairdresser sent (the brand\u2019s founder) Essie Weingarten a letter requesting the shade to be directly delivered to Buckingham Palace in London!\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tThere have been a few notable exceptions to this rule, however, like when the Princess of Wales wore a bright red nail shade<\/a> for Easter 2023.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cThere\u2019s no actual protocol about dark nail polish,\u201d royal expert\u00a0Omid Scobie\u00a0previously told\u00a0Harper\u2019s Bazaar\u00a0<\/a>in December 2018. \u201cIt\u2019s simply about being appropriate. We\u2019d never see [a darker tone] at a royal engagement.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tFor Princess Charlotte, her bright pink nails signify her young, fashion girlie personality. She has previously worn friendship bracelets as popularized by Taylor Swift (and made her dad one<\/a> as well).
