KYM Marsh has addressed her split from Samuel Thomas for the first time.<\/p>\n

The actress, 48, has vowed to never marry again after three divorces just months after declaring Samuel her \u2018soulmate\u2019.<\/a><\/p>\n

Speaking about her latest play – Abigail\u2019s Party – Kym discussed expectations back in the seventies, when the play was written.<\/p>\n

The star told The Independent<\/a>: “You were expected to get married back then. It was almost a little girl\u2019s dream.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut not for Kym Marsh<\/a>. I\u2019ve been married three times, and three times it\u2019s not gone well \u2013 so no more for me. Three strikes and I\u2019m out.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kym went on to add that her career decisions are not based on her love life – or her age.<\/p>\n

She said: \u201cSorry,you think that the decisions in my life are based on how old I am and who I\u2019ve broken up with?\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI mean, even when I\u2019ve been doing interviews for jobs, people have asked me about my love life. I actually said to somebody once, \u2018Tell me about your love life.\u2019 It\u2019s just nonsense.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kym has had a series of ups and downs in her romantic life, including high profile marriages with fellow soap stars<\/a> Jack Ryder<\/a> from 2002 to 2009, and Jamie Lomas<\/a> from 2012 to 2014.<\/p>\n

She then married third husband, Army major Scott Ratcliff,<\/a> in 2021 after a four-year relationship, only to split 19 months later as their work once again kept them apart.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Then in August of last year Kym announced her relationship to toyboy Sam.\u00a0<\/p>\n

A Look Into Her Rocky Love Life<\/p>\n

\u201cMet the most amazing man ever! Sometimes the most unexpected things happen at the most unexpected times. @samuelthomasuk I love you #beautiful #soulmate,” she wrote at the time.\u00a0<\/p>\n

She was later forced to defend their romance after being targeted by cruel trolls<\/a>, telling them to \u201cdo one\u201d and \u201cgrow up and get on with [their] own life\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n

But fast forward to Christmas<\/a> and the pair had gone their separate ways, with a source telling The Sun the split was \u201ccordial\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n

An insider said: \u201cKym and Sam fell head over heels when they first met and couldn\u2019t wait to tell the world.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut once Kym\u2019s role in 101 Dalmatians ended it became harder to spend time together and some of the magic they had at the beginning just disappeared.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s such a shame, especially before Christmas<\/a> but Kym surrounded herself with family.”<\/p>\n
