Sheffield Wednesday have had a strange summer and with pre-season well underway, they need a conclusion to their situation quickly.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Anthony Musaba received a warm welcome from Samsunspor supporters<\/a> after making the switch from the Owls to T\u00fcrkiye, while Djeidi Gassama is set to move to Rangers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

These departures are attempts from Dejphon Chansiri to bring in a short-term cash flow with players potentially able to depart from Tuesday if they are not paid<\/a> once again.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a very tricky situation to evaluate right now, and with Tilman Fertitta attempting to purchase the club<\/a>, an end could be in sight. However, an alleged leak of information has raised question marks about the validity of one takeover attempt at Sheffield Wednesday<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Over the weekend, it was reported that Chanisiri will be leaving \u00a34m worth of footballing debt<\/a> to the next owner, while Hull City are also owed money from the Owls<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Now, it has emerged that a \u2018leaked\u2019 document from an apparent takeover bid is where those claims have come from. While the list itself is not exactly a surprise, to one business expert, the fact that it has leaked is worrying.<\/p>\n

He said (via: The Star<\/a>): \u201cThere will always be speculation in football but I have been shocked about how all of this has been played out in detail on social media, on forums, in the media. <\/p>\n

\u201cI think that has caused more damage than good\u2026 I can honestly say that in all my time in this space and being around this sort of thing, I\u2019ve never seen a deal pan out so publicly and as negatively as this. It\u2019s bizarre.\u201d<\/p>\n

Owls fans must not lose hope despite their current situation<\/p>\n

Rightfully, frustrations this summer have started to boil over for those in S6 and by the time the first Championship fixture<\/a> comes about at the start of August, the club may just look very different from how it did back in May.<\/p>\n

However, we have seen on several occasions in the last few seasons that sides can be rescued from these tough positions.<\/p>\n

After going into administration in 2021, Derby County<\/a> were saved by David Clowes, someone well liked by Kieran Maguire<\/a>. Meanwhile, Rob Couhig rescued Reading at the end of 2024\/25<\/a>, with the League One side now bidding for promotion.<\/p>\n
