A busy main road in Manchester was forced to close on Monday evening (July 14) after a car was dramatically overturned in a crash.<\/p>\n
The northbound carriageway of Princess Parkway (A5103) was closed off with police and ambulance crews also pictured at the scene near Wythenshawe<\/a> Park. The major route runs from the city centre and connects to the M56.<\/p>\n The black vehicle appeared to have been flipped over before landing on its roof on the outside lane in the crash at around 6pm. One person was rushed to hospital by paramedics.<\/p>\n A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: \u201cJust after 6pm this evening (Monday 14th July), one fire engine from Withington<\/a> fire station was called to reports of a road traffic collision involving three vehicles on Princess Parkway, Manchester.<\/p>\n Join our Traffic and Travel WhatsApp group HERE<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cThe crew arrived quickly at the scene. Firefighters worked with colleagues from Greater Manchester Police<\/a> to make the area safe.
