Ruben Amorim could find himself crossing paths with an all-too-familiar face again this summer after a former Manchester United player has been linked with one club.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 40-year-old Manchester United manager<\/a> will soon embark on the Red Devils\u2019 pre-season tour of Europe and the United States this month and in August.<\/p>\n

The Red Devils have been out of action since May after the end of the 2024-25 Premier League season at Old Trafford<\/a> and the two-match post-season tour of Asia.<\/p>\n

United\u2019s<\/a> pre-season campaign will begin in Stockholm on 19th July, with the Red Devils to face newly promoted Premier League side Leeds United in Sweden.<\/p>\n

Following the encounter at the Strawberry Arena, United\u2019s pre-season tour this summer will head to the United States for their next three friendly matches.<\/p>\n

United will face West Ham in New Jersey on 26th July, Bournemouth in Chicago on 30th July and Everton in Atlanta on 3rd August as part of the US leg of their tour.<\/p>\n

Red Devils legend David de Gea is at Fiorentina<\/a> and the 34-year-old Spaniard is expected to play against United for the final pre-season match for Amorim\u2019s side.<\/p>\n

However, David de Gea<\/a> could find another former United teammate alongside him at Fiorentina this summer, with the Italian club now linked with Victor Lindelof<\/a>.<\/p>\n

According to Football Italia<\/a>, Fiorentina could \u2018make an offer\u2019 for Victor Lindelof and De Gea could play a key role in making the move happen to the club.<\/p>\n

The Italian outlet claims that United legend<\/a> De Gea is \u2018reportedly pushing behind the scenes\u2019 for the Florence-based club to sign free agent Lindelof this summer.<\/p>\n

Victor Lindelof could reunite with former Man Utd teammate David de Gea at Fiorentina<\/strong><\/p>\n

Victor Lindelof became a free agent<\/a> on 30th June after his contract with United expired and the 30-year-old Swedish defender is on the hunt for a new club.<\/p>\n

The former United centre-back had been at Old Trafford since 2017 after the Red Devils signed him under Jose Mourinho<\/a> from Portuguese outfit Benfica.<\/p>\n

Lindelof spent eight seasons at the Premier League<\/a> club and the Sweden captain lifted both the FA Cup and the League Cup during his spell at the Red Devils.<\/p>\n

Football Italia cites reports from Corriere dello Sport and Sport Mediaset that Fiorentina are \u2018ready to offer\u2019 Lindelof a contract opportunity at the club.<\/p>\n
