Nicola King<\/a> (Nicola Wheeler<\/a>) has been left taken aback after meeting her new co-owner of the caf\u00e9 in Emmerdale.<\/p>\n Ever since Brenda Walker<\/a> (Lesley Dunlop<\/a>) departed the village to go on a cruise, Nicola has been left running the caf\u00e9 practically on her own.<\/p>\n She gained a little bit of help a few days ago courtesy of Lewis Barton (Bradley Riches), <\/a>who could see Nicola was struggling and wanted to assist.<\/p>\n Lewis\u2019 shift at the caf\u00e9 in this evening\u2019s episode featured a lot of residents arriving to try out the new menu. His bright personality and creative new ideas were already impressing Nicola, but she was also bothered about something.<\/p>\n Because Brenda was still technically co-owner, Lewis\u2019 revamp of the menu and increase in sales meant she was reaping some of the benefits. With Brenda showing no sign<\/a> of returning to the Dales, Nicola didn\u2019t think this was very fair, but couldn\u2019t get hold of her friend to sort things out.<\/p>\n \t\t \t\t As his day at the caf\u00e9 continued, Lewis was paid a visit by brother Ross Barton (Michael Parr).<\/p>\n Lewis opened up to Ross about his business dreams and how he doesn\u2019t intend to stay in the village forever. This left Ross feeling deflated, as he admitted to Lewis that he likes having him around.<\/p>\n It was perhaps this conversation that impacted Lewis\u2019 next decision.
