<\/p>\nLampard handed the Northern Ireland goalscorer his Premier League debut when he was manager of Everton.<\/p>\n
On Good Friday, however, Price will be looking to get one over his old mentor. Lampard now manages Coventry City, who are three points clear of West Brom in the scramble for a place in the Championship Play-Offs.<\/p>\n
The two Midlands clubs clash at the Coventry Building Society Arena at 3.00pm.<\/p>\n

Price said: \u201cIt was huge training with Frank Lampard.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs soon as he came into Everton, I was buzzing. I was in and around the first team before he came in \u2013 and then when he came in, I knew that it was going to be a really good chance to learn a lot and try and question him as much as I can to get as much out of him to build my game and get better.\u201d<\/p>\n
Price has scored eight goals for Northern Ireland in just 20 caps, including a Nations League hat-trick against Bulgaria at Windsor Park in October 2024.<\/p>\n
That goalscoring spree helped the 21-year-old secure a move from Belgian club Standard Liege to West Brom during the January transfer window.<\/p>\n
But Price\u2019s career began at Everton, where he made his Premier League debut while still in his teens.<\/p>\n

Price said: \u201cI\u2019ve been pretty lucky, to be fair \u2013 my first boss at Everton was Carlo Ancelotti. There wasn\u2019t a better place to start my career.<\/p>\n \u201cAfter that, I had Frank Lampard \u2013 he was my manager for a year and a half, that was a great learning experience for me. He\u2019s obviously one of the best midfielders to play the game, so to learn off him was great.<\/p>\n \u201cAnd the club had some really top players. I trained with the likes of James Rodriguez, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Richarlison, some of the top players in the world. To train with that quality of players every day was massive for me, I learned a lot from them.\u201d<\/p>\n Price is now enjoying working with former Celtic and Middlesbrough boss Tony Mowbray, who replaced Carlos Corberan shortly after the attacking midfielder joined the club from Standard Liege.<\/p>\n Price told SportsBoom<\/a>: \u201cI was excited as soon as he came in.<\/p>\n \u201cYou can see from his previous jobs how well he has done, especially with young players.<\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s developed a lot of good young players and given them an opportunity to go and play regular first-team football.<\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s given the confidence to go and kick on, which is something he\u2019s done with me.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m grateful for that so, hopefully, we can keep working and getting better.\u201d<\/p>\n![\"Listen](\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/listenonapple.svg.svg+xml\")
