\t\tWe want new players more than yet more merchandise is the message frustrated supporters send to Celtic after snooker themed tease\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

Celtic today once more teased the realise of yet more merchandise, most likely a new replica kit on their social pages and it\u2019s went down as you\u2019d expect with the supporters, like a lead balloon.<\/p>\n

We can expect an announcement at 8am tomorrow morning, but supporters have had enough judging by the reaction on social media and you can\u2019t really blame them.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve already seen the release of two new tops amongst other clothing items in conjunction with Adidas, and they are quite expensive to say the least. Let\u2019s not forget that a big percentage of us have also just renewed season tickets, so it\u2019s been a bit of a challenging time for the bank balance of the average working class supporter, the lifeblood of this football club of ours.<\/p>\n

What the support wants more than anything else \u00a0is new signings, not new merchandise. We put our hard earned cash into the club and in doing so have contributed to the PLC bulging bank account so it\u2019s only reasonable that we expect to see an investment on the playing front.<\/p>\n

Teasing us with new merchandise is fine and dandy but it\u2019s not something we are all waiting on, including Brendan Rodgers. And in the context of the transfer window business it\u2019s getting rather irritating. We want to investment into the first team, not more emptied out of our pockets.<\/p>\n
