With the win, the Italian improved to 5-8 in the pair\u2019s Lexus ATP Head2Head series.<\/p>\n<p>Sinner won his first ATP Masters 1000 title in Toronto in 2023, defeating <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atptour.com\/en\/players\/alex-de-minaur\/dh58\/overview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Alex de Minaur<\/a> in the championship match. Alcaraz will be chasing his maiden trophy at the event. <\/p>\n<p>The official draw ceremony will be held at 12 p.m. Eastern Time on July 25, 2025. <\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.atptour.com\/en\/news\/it-all-adds-up-hub\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"It All Adds Up\" style=\"width:100%;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/1752557051_180_it-all-adds-up-banner.jpg\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Sinner and Alcaraz will be the top two seeds in the draw. They have met in the final of the past three tournaments that they have both played (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.atptour.com\/en\/tournaments\/wimbledon\/540\/overview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Wimbledon<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.atptour.com\/en\/tournaments\/roland-garros\/520\/overview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Roland Garros<\/a>, Rome).<\/p>\n<p>Alcaraz is 48-6 on the season according to the Infosys ATP Win\/Loss Index and Sinner holds a 26-3 record. Both players are locked in a tight battle for the ATP Year-End No. 1 presented by PIF honours. <\/p>\n<p>Having captured titles in Indian Wells (2023, 2024) and Miami (2022), Alcaraz will be looking to clinch his third-different trophy among the four North American hard-court Masters 1000 tournaments.
