The latter is set to sign for Real Betis, with bureaucratic issues on Firpo\u2019s side preventing confirmation.<\/p>\n<p>Firpo has officially left Leeds on a free, while Max Wober has gone to Werder Bremen on loan. Leeds have sorted this out by bringing in Gabriel Gudmundsson and Sebastiaan Bornauw as their replacements.<\/p>\n<p>Jaka Bijol has also been signed, replacing Pascal Struijk in the starting line-up and ending the need for Ethan Ampadu to drop into defence. Leeds may need a player like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leedsunited.news\/tag\/vladimir-coufal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Vladimir Coufal<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>An experienced full-back with huge Premier League know-how, who can play on either side. Graeme Bailey has told <strong>LeedsUnited.News<\/strong> that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leedsunited.news\/transfers\/west-ham-players-agents-have-now-spoken-to-leeds-united-about-surprise-summer-transfer\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Leeds have held talks to sign 32-year-old right-back Coufal<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/GettyImages-2208097498-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"West Ham player Tomas Soucek applauds the fans after a Premier League match against Wolves.\" class=\"wp-image-82554\" \/>Photo by Dan Istitene\/Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>A report from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamtalk.com\/everton\/transfer-news-submit-offer-west-ham-favourite-imminently-david-moyes-reunion\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">TeamTalk<\/a> however, says that Coufal could now be tempted to join Everton. Indeed, the right-back could be \u2018swayed\u2019 in his decision if close friend <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leedsunited.news\/tag\/tomas-soucek\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tomas Soucek<\/a> joins Everton for a \u00a312m fee.<\/p>\n<p>Everton are preparing a bid of \u00a312m to land Soucek from West Ham in a move that would see Soucek reunite with David Moyes.
