GRIMM<\/a> has announced its expansion to a new gallery space in St James\u2019s, opening to the public this fall to coincide with Frieze Week in October.<\/p>\n

The new gallery will be situated on the ground and lower floor of 43a Duke Street, St James\u2019s, a prominent corner site in a historical late Victorian building.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are proud to be moving to this iconic neighbourhood in London that for centuries has been a
historical base for the display of art. Following the gallery\u2019s establishment in London in 2022, our expansion is a logical progression, and in line with the gallery\u2019s goal \u2013 to provide the best possible platform for our artists, many of them based in the UK. The gallery prides itself on its active management of all aspects of an artist\u2019s career, the foundation on which the gallery has been built. Our program continues to grow and we\u2019re very excited to be able to provide this new space, and the context of the neighbourhood, for our artists to present their work in London going forward.\u201d<\/p>\n

GRIMM is an international contemporary art gallery with locations in Amsterdam (NL), New York, NY (US) and London (UK). The gallery currently represents thirty-seven international artists, working in a variety of media. Founded in 2005, the gallery\u2019s mission has been to represent and support the work of emerging and mid-career artists. In addition to the exhibitions that the gallery programs internationally, GRIMM maintains an in-house publishing series that provides further critical insights into its artists\u2019 practices.
