A CCTV appeal has been issued by police after \u00a37,000 worth of goods was stolen from a store in Manchester city centre<\/a>.<\/p>\n The burglary was reported on June 22, when a man is alleged to have entered the property on Exchange Street in Manchester at around 1pm.<\/p>\n Several cameras and audio equipment were stolen, amounting to around \u00a37,000. Police say they believe the man was aged in his 50s, wearing a dark t-shirt with the logo GB written on it.<\/p>\n Never miss a story with the MEN’s daily Catch Up newsletter – get it in your inbox by signing up here<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n He was also wearing beige coloured shorts, black trainers and was carrying a black rucksack.<\/p>\n As part of a public appeal, Greater Manchester Police<\/a> have issued a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to as part of enquiries. Anyone with information is being urged to contact the force.<\/p>\n A statement read: “Can you help us identify the man pictured as part of an ongoing investigation into a burglary?<\/p>\n Join the Manchester Evening News <\/strong>WhatsApp<\/strong> group <\/strong>HERE<\/a><\/p>\n “The incident occurred on Sunday 22 June 2025, when a man allegedly entered a business premises on Exchange Street, Manchester around 1pm, and several cameras and audio equipment were stolen worth approximately \u00a37,000.<\/p>\n “We believe the man to be in his 50s, wearing a dark t-shirt with the logo \u2018GB\u2019, beige coloured shorts, black trainers and he is holding a black rucksack.<\/p>\n “If you have any information, contact us on 101 quoting log 1541 of the 27\/06\/2025.”<\/p>\n —<\/p>\n Day in day out, our reporters in the Manchester Evening News newsroom bring you remarkable stories from all aspects of Mancunian life.
