Two drivers were taken to hospital after a crash.<\/p>\n
Buses were diverted around the scene in Birmingham Road, in the village of Shenstone, between Sutton Coldfield<\/a> and Lichfield<\/a>, after the collision today, Wednesday, July 16.<\/p>\n Two vehicles collided just after 2pm, with emergency services called to the scene.<\/p>\n READ MORE: Concerns raised over police training after man shot dead by armed officers<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n Both drivers were taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment, although neither were seriously hurt.<\/p>\n A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We were called to reports of a two-car collision on Court Drive in Shenstone at 2pm, one ambulance attended the scene. On arrival we discovered two patients.<\/p>\n “A man was treated for injuries not believed to be serious before being taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital<\/a>, Birmingham. A second man was assessed and discharged at the scene.”<\/p>\n Staffordshire<\/a> Police organised the recovery of both vehicles. A spokesperson for the force said: “We were called just after 2pm today to Birmingham<\/a> Road, Shenstone, following reports of a collision involving two vehicles.<\/p>\n
