{"id":267426,"date":"2025-07-16T20:00:11","date_gmt":"2025-07-16T20:00:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/267426\/"},"modified":"2025-07-16T20:00:11","modified_gmt":"2025-07-16T20:00:11","slug":"new-ceo-takes-reins-as-birmingham-tech-week-returns-for-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/267426\/","title":{"rendered":"New CEO takes reins as Birmingham Tech Week returns for 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Birmingham Tech Week is to return for its seventh consecutive year in 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Yiannis Maos MBE has handed the baton to his successor at the helm of organiser TechWM, Andy Hague, ahead of the UK\u2019s largest regional tech festival.<\/p>\n<p>Taking place between 20th-24th October, Birmingham Tech Week 2025 will welcome over 8,000 attendees, as well as international delegates from countries including Korea and Germany to venues across the city, including the ICC, Millennium Point, and the award-winning STEAMhouse innovation centre.<\/p>\n<p>With an agenda featuring over 60 events and 100 speakers, the week will offer a strong mix of panels, summits, and symposiums, all aimed at accelerating the West Midlands\u2019 rise as a major tech player on the global stage.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The event\u2019s programme, powered by TechWM and supported by some of the biggest local tech giants, multinational corporations, and universities, will be driven by thought-provoking discussions on frontier technologies such as AI, cybersecurity, and quantum computing.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/businesscloud.co.uk\/newsletter\/\" class=\"ad-sc-banner\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"subscribe banner\" class=\"js-lazyload nextgen-img\" src=\"\/wp-content\/themes\/businesscloud\/bundle\/images\/ad-banners\/BC_subscribe_banner.gif\" height=\"90\" width=\"728\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 728\/90\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This year introduces new flagship events including Cyberverse and Frontier Day.
