As is the case throughout Manchester, a number of venues, including pubs and bars, near to the park have been hosting Oasis-themed events during the shows.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Pubs including The Ostrich and The Woodthorpe have been hosting all-day Oasis festivals, with fans getting to enjoy live music and the festivities of the day before, during and after each gig.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Fans were seen dancing and singing along to each song on the Live \u201825 set list, listening from <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk\/all-about\/bury\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Bury<\/a> New Road &#8211; which is situated opposite the West Gate entrance to the concert.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Whilst fans were warned by Manchester Council not to head to Heaton Park if they didn\u2019t have a ticket, some people still gathered at the nearby \u2018Gallagher\u2019s Hill\u2019 despite it being fenced off to block off views of the stage.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/0_JRP_MEN_160725_oasis_062JPG.jpg\" alt=\"Fans also enjoyed the sounds of the concert from the pubs near to Heaton Park\" loading=\"lazy\"  \/>Fans also enjoyed the sounds of the concert from the pubs near to Heaton Park(Image: Jason Roberts \/Manchester Evening News)<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">A number of colourful flares were also set off in the separate space, whilst people sat in deck chairs and enjoyed picnics together.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Fans Ellie and Ethan had differing opinions on the barriers that have been installed. Ellie, who didn\u2019t get tickets to the concerts, said: \u201cI\u2019m not bothered [about the fences]. Those people paid for their tickets so they should see it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Ethan, who was at Friday\u2019s show and returned to camp out at the gathering spot this evening added: &#8220;It\u2019s rubbish, nobody was doing any harm.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/0_JRP_MEN_160725_oasis_057JPG.jpg\" alt=\"Oasis are playing their third show at Heaton Park this evening\" loading=\"lazy\"  \/>Oasis are playing their third show at Heaton Park this evening(Image: Jason Roberts \/Manchester Evening News)<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Meanwhile, fans Roy, Rob and Mark felt a bit more strongly about the situation.. Mark, who is local to the area but will be watching Oasis when they play in London, said: \u201cIt\u2019s a load of boll***s. They\u2019re killjoys.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Manchester Council said it had erected fences earlier this week as part of \u2018additional measures\u2019 which had been \u2018deemed necessary\u2019 around the perimeter of the vast parkland.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The statement said: &#8220;After taking stock of how the first two nights went, additional measures have now been deemed necessary and will be in place for the next three Oasis concerts, to protect the environment of the park, ensure areas of parkland and nearby livestock are protected, and maintain public safety.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/0_JRP_MEN_160725_oasis_062JPG.jpg\" alt=\"Fans also enjoyed the sounds of the concert from the pubs near to Heaton Park\" loading=\"lazy\"  \/>Fans also enjoyed the sounds of the concert from the pubs near to Heaton Park(Image: Jason Roberts \/Manchester Evening News)<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The council added: \u201cThe erection of the fencing has a dual purpose &#8211; both to protect the environment from further damage and to dissuade people from gathering there.
