Turki Alalshikh is continuing to give fight fans what they want<\/a>. <\/p>\n

During a recent social media post on Instagram<\/a>, Alalshikh \u2014 head of Saudi Arabia\u2019s General Entertainment Authority \u2014 revealed that he and DAZN CEO, Shay Segev, have come to an agreement to end the pay-per-view (PPV) model.<\/p>\n

\u201cGreat meeting with my brother Shay, CEO of DAZN. We have big vision to grow boxing and decide: No More Pay-Per-View. Starting with our Ring Magazine show in November, all Riyadh Season & The Ring events will be free to DAZN subscribers,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n

\u201cThe PPV model has damaged boxing, and we will no longer support it. We are with the fight fans.\u201d<\/p>\n

If you recall, Alalshikh started his crusade to cut down the price consumers have to pay to enjoy his boxing events earlier this year by revealing that every one of his fight cards would cost no more than $20 each<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Now, it will cost next to nothing since all you need to have to enjoy all of the mega events is a subscription to DAZN, which currently runs between $14.99 or $29.99 a month depending on which of these plans you choose<\/a>. <\/p>\n

The next major boxing event will take place at a on November 22<\/a>, which will feature several intriguing title fights. In the main event, David Benavidez will be defending his WBC light heavyweight title against Anthony Yarde, while the co-headlining act will see Devin Haney face current WBO welterweight champion, Brian Norman Jr. <\/p>\n

Also on the card, Jesse Rodriguez will defend his Ring Magazine junior bantamweight strap against Fernando Martinez, while rising sensation, Abdullah Mason, will take on Sam Noakes for the vacant WBO lightweight title.<\/p>\n

Now, the question remains: Will Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) follow in these footsteps? <\/a><\/p>\n
