It\u2019s been revealed that a Love Island<\/a> 2025 couple \u201chooked up\u201d before the show, but are now coupled up and pretending they\u2019ve just met?! What on earth is going on?!<\/p>\n

It\u2019s been confirmed that Casa Amor girl Lauren was given her place on the show by producers, after she took part in a \u201cdry-run\u201d of the villa<\/a>. Yes, this is a thing! A set of people go out to the villa, and pretend to be Islanders in a dry-run. They test the mics, camera angles and other production things. But, now it\u2019s been said she wasn\u2019t the only person to get chosen for the show in this way.<\/p>\n

Lauren has just coupled up with Ty, and despite them sitting awkwardly and pretending they\u2019ve just been flung together, apparently they hooked up before the show! Ty was reportedly also a guinea-pig Islander at the same time Lauren was.<\/p>\n

A source told The Sun:<\/a> \u201cTy and Lauren are acting like they\u2019ve only just met but that\u2019s far from the case. They hooked up during the dry run, which is where a fake cast moves into the villa to test out everything from camera angles, to kitchen appliances and run-through challenges.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd then they even saw each other on the outside before ITV invited them back to be part of Casa Amor. Now they\u2019re both in the main villa pretending like none of this ever happened but it\u2019s all entirely fake and ITV know about it. Viewers deserve to know it\u2019s all a huge sham.\u201d<\/p>\n

The source continued to say things between Lauren and Ty didn\u2019t end when they left the villa practice. \u201cTy and Lauren don\u2019t live far from each other at home and they continued seeing each other after the dry run week,\u201d they added.<\/p>\n
