The Prince<\/a> and Princess of Wales<\/a> have taken to Instagram to mark Queen Camilla’s birthday today<\/a>. In an Instagram<\/a> story posted this morning, Prince William<\/a>, 43, and Princess Kate, shared the Royal Family’s post to Camilla, 78, which included a new photograph of Her Majesty.<\/p>\n

In the photo, taken to mark her 78th birthday, Camilla can be seen leaning on a garden gate at her private Wiltshire home<\/a> Raymill. The photograph was taken by Getty photographer Chris Jackson, who has photographed Camilla for the last two decades.<\/p>\n

As well as William and Kate, 43, sharing the photograph on their story, they also wrote above it: “Happy birthday To Her Majesty!”<\/p>\n

This was followed by a sweet cake emoji.<\/p>\n

Queen Camilla is believed to be set to celebrate her big day with her nearest and dearest today.<\/p>\n

Although it is not known what gifts she has been given from her royal relatives, including her husband King Charles, she was given a rather unusual birthday present yesterday<\/a> during a royal engagement.<\/p>\n

At a garden party at HMS Drake in Devon, where the Queen became the Lady Sponsor of HMS Astute, she was given a roll of cling film on a wooden stand.<\/p>\n

As reported by The Independent<\/a>, Her Majesty reportedly remarked: “There\u2019s nothing more useful, brilliant how wonderful.”<\/p>\n

It is not known who Camilla will be spending her special day with today, however it is believed she will be marking the occasion privately.<\/p>\n

The Royal Family have thanked everyone for the birthday wishes for Camilla by posting another photograph of Her Majesty reading in the garden.<\/p>\n

They wrote on Instagram<\/a>: “Thank you for the wonderful well wishes on Her Majesty\u2019s 78th birthday today!”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The Prince and Princess of Wales have taken to Instagram to mark Queen Camilla’s birthday today.
