{"id":270203,"date":"2025-07-17T20:24:12","date_gmt":"2025-07-17T20:24:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/270203\/"},"modified":"2025-07-17T20:24:12","modified_gmt":"2025-07-17T20:24:12","slug":"france-urges-israel-to-avoid-unilateral-action-reaffirms-support-for-syrias-sovereignty","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/270203\/","title":{"rendered":"France urges Israel to avoid unilateral action, reaffirms support for Syria&#8217;s sovereignty"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>BRUSSELS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>France on Thursday reiterated its commitment to Syria&#8217;s sovereignty and territorial integrity, calling on Israel to refrain from any unilateral actions amid ongoing tensions in the Suwayda region.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement, the Foreign Ministry expressed &#8220;grave concern&#8221; over continued violence in Suwayda despite a disengagement deal reached the previous night, urging all parties to respect the ceasefire, ensure civilian safety, and restore humanitarian access.<\/p>\n<p>The ministry voiced support for Syrian transitional authorities and local leaders working toward a lasting agreement through dialogue.
