Others are charged on a &#8216;pay what you can&#8217; basis, while other activities have special ticket prices for families.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">We&#8217;ve rounded up some of the best events and activities taking place during the school holidays across Merseyside and within driving distance of our region.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond Monet and Beyond Van Gogh<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Beyond Van Gogh and Beyond Monet are running at Exhibition Centre Liverpool until Friday, August 15. The multimedia attractions are being staged on separate days throughout the four-and-a-half-week residency at the waterfront landmark.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">And in addition to Beyond Monet receiving its European premiere in the city, both experiences feature enchanting new \u2018exit rooms\u2019 never seen anywhere else in the world before.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Produced by Annerin Productions and Paquin Entertainment Group, Beyond Monet: The Immersive Experience has been enjoyed by thousands of people at venues in North America, and now it has come to the UK. Sunday, July 20. 12 \u2013 5pm. Free. Liverpool Arab Arts Festival (LAAF) Family Day is an unmissable highlight in Liverpool\u2019s cultural calendar. Immerse yourself in a free afternoon of authentic Arab art, culture and community during this joyful celebration, featuring music and performance by leading musicians. The Family Day also brings an array of creative workshops, mouthwatering cuisine, exciting children\u2019s activities and more than 20 stalls featuring authentic crafts and traders.<\/li>\n<li class=\"sc-700e1ff3-0 VljCu\">Craft Club &#8211; July 29, August 19, September 28. 1 \u2013 3pm. These four hands-on workshop sessions, funded by the Ulrike Michal Foundation for the Arts, will journey through a range of creative processes including drawing, printmaking, sculpture and painting. Inspired by the natural world, inspiration will be taken from the beautiful surroundings of the Palm House, with each session having a different focus to build creative skills through colour, pattern, shape, texture and materials. All materials are provided, and a collaborative artwork will be created at each session, which will then be displayed at the Palm House. A wonderful way to begin the day with little ones. Participants are advised to dress comfortably and bring a yoga mat if they have one. The in-house story time team from the Palm House will be welcoming younger visitors for a special Teddy Bear\u2019s picnic on the grass surrounding the Palm House. Children are asked to bring their teddies, family, friends and a picnic for a fun-filled couple of hours of stories and songs. Bring rugs, folding chairs and food, or stock up on sandwiches and refreshments from the caf\u00e9 to enjoy on the grass.
