USA due to manufacturing issues,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.accessdata.fda.gov\/scripts\/ires\/?Event=96474\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.accessdata.fda.gov\/scripts\/ires\/?Event=96474\"> according to the Food and Drug Administration. <\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"YU32KKPGXZBUNCHO7ES7CL5CG4\">The recalled products are generic versions of Aleve (naproxen sodium), Tylenol (acetaminophen), and Advil (ibuprofen).<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"MODEMPOKIVG6ZF5B4CFB3VEBUY\">According to an FDA report, published on April 8, the recall was initiated because of current good manufacturing practice regulation deviations. <\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"TQJQAPUVOJDSZOIGFCE4YMGM2A\">Products with this issue could include problems like incorrect dosages of active ingredients or exposure to elements like humidity during transport. The exact quality control issues were not immediately clear.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"D7YZYV3UPFFWDNOWJXO5LJMOWE\">The following products were recalled:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"article__unordered-list\">\n<li>100-count naproxen sodium tablets that were packaged in bottles with the lot number 17231956 and had an August 2025 expiration date. <\/li>\n<li>144 and 216-count acetaminophen and ibuprofen combination tablets that were packaged in bottles with the lot numbers 17241302, 17241140, and 17241141, all with July 2026 expiration dates.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"WKY3S6MEHFD6BNFQTJ4X3CA27Y\">These combination tablets may have been sold at Amazon and Walmart, but this is not confirmed, according to the administration.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"36AGSKWIRFFDVLNCAC5GN5GTGE\">The administration has classified this as a Class II recall, which is when exposure to the product \u201cmay cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health effects.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"VF3XQZAQQRD2BPRGDB4WHFPLGM\">It is unknown exactly how much medication was affected by this recall.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"NGIVBRLZUNF5TFG42DLMFPQZ3I\">Consumers should properly dispose of the pills, the administration advised.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Three popular over-the-counter pain medications have been recalled by Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Inc.
