Clubs across the second tier really are getting busy in the market now, and we\u2019ve gathered all the latest big stories and rumours in our Championship transfer round-up.<\/strong><\/p>\n

With roughly three weeks to go until the first round of Championship fixtures<\/a>, it\u2019s not surprising that teams are starting to make moves.<\/p>\n

In recent days and weeks, we\u2019ve seen the likes of Norwich City<\/a> and Birmingham City<\/a> show real signals of intent for the season ahead with big signings.<\/p>\n

But now, other teams are getting in on the act and recruiting shrewdly. Meanwhile, others are completely falling apart at the seams. <\/p>\n

It\u2019s all part of the fun of the second tier. Find out who\u2019s going where in our latest Championship<\/a> transfer round-up.<\/p>\n

We start our Championship transfer round-up with some pretty sad news, really. The financial mess at Sheffield Wednesday<\/a> has really begun to take its toll, and players are now leaving the club left, right, and centre.<\/p>\n

Danny Rohl is about to depart<\/a>, with Henrik Pedersen taking over. But whether the new manager will actually have a squad is another matter.<\/p>\n

The Owls can confirm that the current contracts of Michael Smith and Josh Windass have been terminated by mutual consent.<\/p>\n

Josh Windass and Michael Smith have terminated their contracts<\/a> due to failed payments. Djeidi Gassama and Anthony Musaba were sold last week. Captain Barry Bannan still needs a new contract<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s all a real mess, and we\u2019ve a feeling it\u2019s nowhere near over yet.<\/p>\n

Wrexham make \u00a34m signing<\/p>\n

It feels like we\u2019ve not spoken about Wrexham<\/a> in our Championship transfer round-up for a while, but the Red Dragons are making moves once more.<\/p>\n

Phil Parkinson has smashed Wrexham\u2019s transfer record<\/a> with the \u00a34m capture of New Zealand winger, Liberato Cacace. Their previous record was the \u00a32m paid for Sam Smith in January.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s a chance Wrexham may also move for John Egan<\/a>. The defender is seemingly available for transfer and could leave Hull this summer. <\/p>\n

There\u2019s also a good chance Wrexham will target Josh Windass<\/a> now he\u2019s a free agent. They\u2019ve been linked with him for a long time, and now\u2019s their chance to make that deal happen. <\/p>\n

The Callum Brittain saga has dominated Blackburn Rovers headlines for a while now. <\/p>\n

Rovers signed a new right-back<\/a> last week, with Ryan Alebiosu arriving from the Belgian league. That would suggest Brittain is off, but he was spotted in training on Thursday.<\/p>\n

According to our sources, Middlesbrough have bid around \u00a31.7m for the full-back, while Blackburn want at least \u00a32.5m, perhaps even \u00a33m if possible.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Blackburn are determined to keep Igor Tyjon<\/a>. The teenage star is wanted by Man Utd and Arsenal, but Rovers have promoted him to their first-team.<\/p>\n

And, we could see a new face arriving at Blackburn soon. It\u2019s said Rovers are keen on Colin Rosler<\/a>, a centre-half plying his trade for Malmo in Sweden.<\/p>\n

Championship transfer round-up: West Brom and Ipswich rejected, Hull City desperate, Ashley Young\u2019s return<\/p>\n

We complete our Championship transfer round-up with a run through some of the other top stories around the league. And, it seems rejection is in the air.<\/p>\n

West Brom have been knocked back by Jeon Jin-woo<\/a>, the top scorer in the K League. He registered 21 goal contributions in 26 games last term.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Ipswich have also tasted rejection, with Marcel Ruiz turning them down<\/a>. Still, at least Omari Hutchinson\u2019s move to Brentford fell through<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Hull City may be under a transfer embargo, but Sergej Jakirovic is still eager to sign Matija Frigan<\/a>. The Tigers boss has made it clear he is a fan of the striker and essentially told him to come to the Championship.<\/p>\n

And finally, Watford have continued their impressive summer business. The Hornets rejected a move from Burnley for starlet Mamadou Doumbia, and are also eyeing up a move for Ashley Young<\/a>. The 40-year-old could return to Vicarage Road, where he started his career.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
