Happy birthday, Queen Camilla<\/a>!<\/p>\n

Today, July 17, the royal celebrates her 78th birthday<\/a> and she\u2019s feeling the love from all kinds of well-wishers, including her son and daughter-in-law, Prince William and Princess Kate<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The pair gave a shoutout to the queen on Instagram, where they shared a portrait of Camilla recently shot by Getty photographer Chris Jackson. Above the image, the couple wrote: \u201cHappy birthday to Her Majesty! \ud83c\udf82\u201d<\/p>\n

In the image, the birthday girl looks ready for summer, as she wears a tropical blue dress printed with renderings of toucans, monkeys, and more, all set within lush greenery.<\/p>\n

As for her accessories, Camilla sports some golden, leaf-shaped earrings, as well as a bracelet and rings to match. She also flashes her 5-carat engagement ring, which came from the jewelry collection of Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother.<\/p>\n

The image was taken earlier this month, in the garden of Camilla\u2019s private home, Raymill, which is located in Wiltshire.<\/p>\n

In honor of her special day, a post was shared to the official royal family Instagram account too, which read: \u201cThank you for the wonderful well wishes on Her Majesty\u2019s 78th birthday today! \ud83c\udf88.\u201d<\/p>\n

Just a day prior, the queen visited the Royal Navy<\/a>, where she was appointed Vice Admiral of the United Kingdom at a ceremony on the HMS Astute.<\/p>\n

Camilla has been a part of the royal family since she married King Charles III in 2005. At the time, she was deemed the Duchess of Cornwall, but she then became a queen when she was coronated alongside her husband at their joint ceremony in 2023.<\/p>\n
