Lindsey and Stevie first joined Fleetwood Mac in 1974, then helped to spearhead their late-1970s imperial phase, which peaked with their iconic, chart-topping 1977 album Rumours.<\/p>\n

One of the best-selling albums of all time, Rumours<\/a> has racked up a massive 1105 weeks on the Official Albums Chart. The band’s enduring popularity is also illustrated by the fact they have three classic songs on the latest Official Singles Chart: Dreams (58), The Chain (76) and Everywhere (78).<\/p>\n

The band last played live in 2019, though Lindsey wasn’t part of the line-up, having left the fold a year earlier.<\/p>\n

In 2022, the band’s singer and keyboard player Christine McVie, composer of Fleetwood Mac classics including Don’t Stop, Everywhere and Little Lies, died at age 79.<\/p>\n

Stevie told Mojo later that year:\u00a0“There is no chance of putting Fleetwood Mac back together in any way. Without her, it just couldn\u2019t work.”
