A huge multi-agency response<\/a> has scrambled to an ongoing incident in Edinburgh.<\/p>\n

Police Scotland and the Scottish<\/a> Fire and Rescue Service are currently responding to an emergency on Gorgie Road in the west of the city.<\/p>\n

It is understood Saughton Park and several roads have been closed to traffic<\/a> with diversions in place.<\/p>\n

Fire engines are at the scene<\/a> assisting police with specialist rope rescue and water teams working on the emergency.<\/p>\n

The Scottish Fire and Rescue<\/a> Service confirmed two appliances and specialist teams including rope rescue teams and two water rescue teams are at the scene assisting Police Scotland.<\/p>\n
