Sean \u2018Diddy\u2019 Combs <\/a>has been charged with a new federal indictment <\/a>weeks before his trial is due to start.<\/p>\n The US<\/a> rapper was hit with five new criminal counts,<\/a> including racketeering and sex trafficking, according to court records.<\/p>\n Previous accusations include sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution.<\/p>\n He was already charged with three criminal counts, which he denies, and earlier this month pleaded not guilty to new indictments.<\/p>\n Combs\u2019 trial is set for May 5 in Manhattan and\u00a0is currently behind bars<\/a>, having been taken into custody in September 2024.<\/a><\/p>\n If found guilty, the mandatory minimum sentence he could face for the charges is 15 years, with a maximum sentence of life in prison.<\/p>\n \t\t Since his arrest, Combs has been denied bail multiple times after the US Magistrate Judge Robyn F Tarnofsky said she had \u2018very significant concerns\u2019.<\/p>\n When he put in his \u2018not guilty\u2019 plea, his legal team are said to have offered a $50million (\u00a337.8million) package to secure his release on bail.<\/p>\n The judge, according to AP, voiced concerns over his alleged substance abuse and \u2018what appears to be anger issues.\u2019<\/p>\n Alternatives to denying him bail were considered but she didn\u2019t think they were sufficient because many of the allegations happened behind closed doors.<\/p>\n An estimated 60 civil lawsuits have also been filed against Combs, including a $10million (\u00a37.85million) lawsuit after allegedly dangling a woman from a 17th-floor balcony.<\/a><\/p>\n \t\t One case, filed in January by an anonymous woman, claimed she was lured into his car after babysitting<\/a> and assaulted by Combs.<\/p>\n The alleged victim said she went into his car \u2018after much cajoling\u2019, where two of his associates were also sat, and was given a drink to \u2018calm her down\u2019 \u2014\u00a0rapidly becoming groggy.<\/p>\n She claims Combs then sexually assaulted her before the two other men dropped her home.<\/p>\n Another case was put forward by an unnamed man who claimed Combs sexually assaulted him at a hotel in New York in 2005, when he was aged just 10, during an \u2018audition\u2019.<\/a><\/p>\n A different lawsuit from October 2024, via\u00a0CNN<\/a>, alleges that \u2018Combs\u00a0asked Plaintiff hypothetical questions about handling situations involving sexual pressure\u2019, during a one-on-one interview on the first day of reality show Making the Band.<\/p>\n \t\t Another report stated that five civil lawsuits were filed at once, including a claim that he raped and drugged one female plaintiff when she was 13 years old.<\/a><\/p>\n One woman has come forward alleging that he violently raped her in 2001, <\/a>alongside his head of security, Joseph Sherman.<\/p>\n She said after being invited to meet Combs, while dating one of his employees, she was given a drink \u2018likely laced with a drug\u2019 and lost consciousness.<\/p>\n Waving her anonymity, Thalia Graves claimed that she later woke up restrained, when they sexually abused and violated her, \u2018mercilessly raping her anally and vaginally\u2019.<\/p>\n Other accusations stem from his so-called \u2018Freak-Off\u2019 parties<\/a>, with documents and videos reportedly seen by the New York Post said to show\u00a0Combs\u00a0held at least three of these raucous sex parties.<\/p>\n \t\t The federal indictment was unsealed and includes allegations that Combs coerced multiple alleged victims into sex acts, known as \u2018freak offs\u2019.<\/p>\n He allegedly organised and directed the \u2018freak offs\u2019, and is accused of \u2018directing, masturbating during, and often electronically recording\u2019 them.<\/p>\n Over 100 people are said to be planning to sue Combs <\/a>in allegations from unnamed accusers who were as young as 9 at the time.<\/p>\n The timeline of accusations<\/a> against the rapper is extensive, with previous allegations and court cases stretching back to the 90s.<\/p>\n Combs has denied all allegations against him.<\/p>\n Got a story?<\/strong><\/p>\n If you\u2019ve got a celebrity story, video or pictures get in touch with the Metro.co.uk<\/a> entertainment team by emailing us celebtips@metro.co.uk, calling 020 3615 2145 or by visiting our Submit Stuff<\/a> page \u2013 we\u2019d love to hear from you.<\/p>\n Arrow![\"ATLANTA,](\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/SEI_232893094-d878.jpg\")
